How to add my publications:

There are two ways to add your publications:

A. Using author ORCID (recommended)

1. At the Publications section of your account click Add New

2. Enter your Open Researcher and Contributor ID (ORCID) and click Find All

3. All publications connected to your ORCID will be added to your profile.

B. Using publication DOI

1. At the Publications section of your account click Add New

2. Enter Digital Object Identifier (DOI) of your publication and click Find

3. If the publication DOI is found in our database, all the required fields will be pre-filled. Check the form and click Next.

4. The publication will be added to your profile.

5. Repeat these steps for adding more publications to your profile.

How to add development files to library:

1. At the development files section of your account click Add New

2. Every development file should be linked to a reference publication. Enter Digital Object Identifier (DOI) of the reference publication and click Find.

3. If the publication DOI is found in our database, all the required fields will be pre-filled and you will automatically directed to add new development file form.

4. Here you can add your development file within 5 steps:

4.1. On the 1th step, you can upload a zip folder containing all the materials (code, software main file, models, data, ext.) related to the reference publication. or you can add a link to the file.

For the description file, please download the template file and follow the instructions. save the template in PDF format before uploading.

4.2. On the 2th step, you can set a price for your main file, if your account is not connected to Stripe, your development file will be available for free. Please go to How to connect to Stripe to see the instructions.

For the license, you can upload your own license file, if no file added default license will be applied.

4.3. On the 3th step, you should provide all the software and hardware requirements to run your model in the main file.

4.4. On the 4th step, you can add any co-developers signed up in SciLeap for the development file.

4.5. On the 5th step, you can review and submit your development file. please make sure you provided all the required information and click Submit.

5. This development file will be added to your profile and library.

6. Repeat these steps to add more development files to your profile.

How to Request a development file for a reference publication:

1. At the top navigation bar go to library

2. Search for a reference publication title or DOI.

3. If the search returns no result, you can add your request by clicking on Request Now

4. If the reference publication was in library, you could add it to your requested development files by clicking Add to requests

5. You can check and remove your requested development files from Requests section of your profile.

6. If a development file becomes available for this development file, you will receive a notification.

How to connect my account to Stripe:

1. From sidebar at your dashboard or from the profile drop-down menu click Settings.

2. Navigate to the Stripe section and click on connect to stripe.

3. You will be redirected to the Stripe on-boarding page. Please follow the instructions.

4. If you have any questions please visit Stripe website or contact Stripe support.

5. For your business details, you can select Individual/Sole trader, and in the business details select software as shown in this example.


6. After the Stripe on-boarding process, you will be redirected to SciLeap.

7. Now you will be able to sell your development files on library.

How to complete my profile details:

1. At the Profile section of your account, click Edit Profile

2. Fill your details here and click submit.

3. Your details will be updated in your profile.

How to add a video summary to library:

1. Download our template PowerPoint file from Templates to prepare your presentation.

2. At the Videos section of your profile click Add New

3. Every video summary should be linked to a reference publication. Enter Digital Object Identifier (DOI) of the reference publication and click Find.

4. After linking the publication, you will be directed to add a new video summary.

5. Here you can add and submit your video files. Video files should be maximum 200 MB in size and 5 min in length.

6. The video file will be added to your profile and library.
